Firewood Processors FAQ

Japa Firewood Processors are all made in Finland, and Japa was founded in 1977.

The Japa 435 is our largest machine and it can handle a max log diameter of 17″.

Yes! The Japa 365+ Pro is configurable with a road axle and combustion engine, making it mobile.

Every Japa firewood processor is configurable to use a PTO shaft.

The PTO configurations use a 540 RPM PTO shaft, and you spin it at 400 RPM.

Yes, we include a PTO shaft with every PTO compatible firewood processor.

The Japa 315+, 365+ Pro, and 395, are configurable to use a combustion engine.

However, the Japa 405 is under development to support a combustion engine, please contact us for more info.

The Japa 365+ Basic, 365+ Pro, 395, 405, and 435 are configurable to use 3-Phase Electric.

Some processors can be configured with PTO & 3-Phase Electric, what this means is that they can be run by either PTO or 3-Phase Electric. You don’t need to use both at once.

Any processor with a “+” in the name simply means it has undergone a revision since it was first released.

No. The power pack retails for over 10K and it just doesn’t make sense to sell. It would make more sense to purchase one of our processors with an engine if you want a mobile solution.
